What we provide

HuarenBiz is a business directory. Searching and browsing are free, and listing or claiming a business is free; featured spots and ads are paid extras, see the next section. We are not an agent for any business, we do not broker work, and we are not part of any deal between you and a business.

Featured spots, ads and credits

• Featured spots and ads are optional paid services, billed monthly and paid for with credits. You need at least one published business in your account to buy them.
• Credits: $1 = 1 credit, topped up in your user centre and paid through Square. Credits can only be used to buy featured spots and ads on this site. They do not expire and cannot be refunded, cashed out or transferred.
• A free spot is paid for and goes live at once. A spot in use can only be bid on: your bid holds price × months in credits; the highest bidder at the next billing cycle is charged and goes live, and everyone else’s credits are released.
• At the end of each billing cycle the spot renews for another month from your credits; if there are not enough, it is taken down. We remind you by message and email before it ends.
• If you stop a running featured spot or ad part-way, the unused time is not refunded; nor is it if we take it down for breaking these terms. Only if we end it early for our own reasons (for example a page or spot is withdrawn) do we return the unused days to your credits, pro rata.
• When you close your account, any credit balance is cleared and not refunded. Anyone who asks you for cash in person or for a bank transfer is not acting for HuarenBiz.

Ads and posts

• Ad artwork and featured content must be true, lawful and about your own business; an ad can only link to your own business page.
• Job, housing and partnership posts are the responsibility of whoever posts them. HuarenBiz does not vouch for them and is not part of any deal; do not pay or send money in advance.
• We may reject or take down ads, featured content or posts that do not meet these rules.

Accuracy

Some information here is compiled from publicly available sources and some is entered by the businesses themselves. We do our best to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that every detail is current. Check anything important — prices, licences, insurance, opening hours — with the business directly.

If you have a merchant account

• Only claim a business you own or are authorised to represent. Accounts that claim businesses they do not represent are suspended.
• The details you enter must be true. Do not enter a name, address, phone number or language that does not match the actual business.
• Keep your password safe. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

What you may not do

• Bulk-copy the directory to build a competing directory or to resell the data.
• Impersonate anyone, submit fake businesses, or post unlawful content.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the site.

The technical measures we use to keep the site running properly, including how they work and their settings, are confidential and not published.

Who owns what

The business details and photos you upload remain yours. You grant us permission to display them on this site and in materials promoting this site. The site design, code and compiled directory belong to HuarenBiz.com.

Limits

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using the site or relying on a listing, and our total liability is limited to what you have actually paid us for the service.

Changes and governing law

If these terms change in a meaningful way we update the date on this page and send a message to registered businesses in their merchant centre. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes belong to the courts of that state.
